Our Story
Bill was inspired to be an artist by his high school art teacher Gerald Brommer, and pursued his art education at Los Angeles Valley College and UCLA. He painted motion picture backgrounds at 20th Century Fox from 1962 to 1972, then freelanced in the business until 1980 when he started doing Disney projects.
Mural Makers was incorporated in 1997 but we have been painting murals and theme painting for 35 years. Most of our work has been for Walt Disney Theme Parks worldwide and includes projects in Florida, Anaheim, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong. We do a lot of black light hand-painted attractions such as the ones in Fantasyland Disneyland Anaheim.
Jenny Raney started working as a scenic artist in the early 1980’s and has now taken over the business as owner.
